To me it feels like a fish like people said before swimming around, maybe really light taps, it was totally different than that gurgling sensation of gas or digestion. Either way it’s so so cool!!! If this is your first pregnancy, it may take you a little while to realise that those fluttering feelings are your baby’s movements. Your baby’s first movements may feel like bubbles popping. Nov 02, · It might start out as butterfly kicks, tiny and rapid, but as the baby gets bigger (around month six of pregnancy), you will get these feelings of long stretches, like arms or legs, where baby is. the feelings vary - iy does sometimes feel like a muscle twitch (ie eyelid twitch but slower and in your tummy) and other times like gas bubbles escaping. The first time i had a definite feeling which i knew was the baby was a proper kick - like his foot had slipped off the clutch. It was almost painful! But i haven't had one of those since.
